Order informations

How do I register and what do i need ?
In order to place an order for Okargo, you will need a valid work e-mail adress and you will have to indicate your name to complete the request form for a free Okargo trial on the home page (you can get it by pressing the button “try for free” or on the footer form).
We will remain available and follow your progress using the tool during this trial period. We will get back to you to discuss your needs and possibly set up a longer test with actual data before you subscribe.
What does free trial version mean?
It means that you get a temporal account. We set up a login for you to access your personal test account. In this area you can judge most of the functionality of the tool and compare the details of the various offers. It is obvious that the posted rates are not the actual values. If we put up a real test, the actual rates will be used and you will access all features.
How long can I use my free trial account?
The rule of thumb is one week. We believe that you can see the added value within one week of fully testing Okargo.
For which countries is Okargo available?
Okargo is available in every country but there are only two langages choices for now. Okargo also supports multiple currencies.

Is Okargo secure ?
Indeed. We have the data as secure as possible with the help of multiple tools and settings. We don’t want your special agreement rates out in the open. Nevertheless, it is strongly recommended to change the password that you get to open your account in order to strengthen and maintain the security for you as well as for the other users.
How reliable are the rates and information displayed by Okargo?
The database of Okargo is the most performant and accurate seafreight database in the world. We have numerous custom software tools that help us keep the database as perfect as possible.

Technical support

Why do I need to accept cookies?
Cookies are placed on your browser for your convenience. When you login, information is written onto your own hard drive. The next time you login again the system recognises who you are and automatically enters your settings into the online application.
Which browsers are supported by Okargo?
We support Internet Explorer 8, 9, 10, Chrome, Firefox, Opera. Other browsers might work more or less, but they are not actively supported and therefore some of the functions in Okargo might not work.
If your browser is not listed or if you happen to have troubles using the web application, you can download the desktop application (see details in “Okargo on my Desktop/computer”)

Which operating system are supported by Okargo?

Every operating system is supported by Okargo. Since there is no installation required, Okargo will work as long as you have an internet connexion and a browser that is supported by our tool.

Do other people in my company can also register?

Yes, it is possible. Each person will receive a user name and password. It only needs to be specified when subscribing or to referral persons in your agency.

Do I need to install Okargo?

No. To ensure you work with the latest version of Okargo, with the latest rates and other information, we’ve placed Okargo online. “In the cloud” as they say. Since everything is online, you do not need to install anything. All you need is a PC, a supported browser and an internet connection.
However, you can download Okargo’s application on your desktop (see details in “Okargo on my desktop / computer”). You’ll find the same information as in the online tool because it is updated automatically.

Does Okargo have customer support and what is the cost of it?
Okargo provides online help using online chat. The cost is included within your user subscription. At any time you can contact our Customer Care team for free by email at emilie@okargo.com or through the « send a suggestion » feature (directly on the website).
If you need a one on one support, we can start an online session and show you step by step how it works best for you (support with teamviewer and/or skype).

Okargo on my computer.

For faster access to the tool you can download the Okargo application (in the Options menu, next to the Logout button). Follow the instructions and an Okargo icon will be placed on your desktop. You just have to click on it to reach your personal Okargo space and find your rates.
